PGA of Estonia and Estonian Golf Association Working Together to Grow Golf

The PGA of Estonia and Estonian Golf Association were recipients of Ryder Cup European Development Trust (RCEDT) funding that aimed to aid the development of golf in Estonia.

The organisations set the objectives of educating new coaches and applied for an RCEDT grant that would support six coaches and their attendance on the Initial Professional Education (IPE) course held in Estonia.

These six professionals are now coaching juniors, introducing the game to adults and are inspiring people to start the game of golf.

One of the IPE graduates started the PGA of Great Britain & Ireland Professional Education Programme after finishing IPE and is now moving towards becoming fully qualified PGA of GB&I Member Professional as well as being a PGA of Estonia Member Professional.

With the help from RCEDT, the PGA of Estonia and Estonian Golf Association now have a more highly qualified workforce than ever before to develop golf in Estonia in a strategic and collaborative way.
